Teacher Appreciation Evening

We are planning an evening to show our appreciation for the your children's school teachers or any other teacher they decide to invite. This event will be on Friday, May 4th at 5:30-6:30 pm and will be held at the church building. We would like to have the children invite a teacher of their choice. Preferably this would be a teacher from school. They could also invite any other type of teacher they may be influenced by. We are going to pass out these invitations to your kids on Sunday, April 8th (Easter). We are going to pass them out again on Sunday, April 15th for anyone that wasn't there to receive their invitation on April 8th. On Sunday, April 22nd we are going to be writing letters of appreciation to the teacher each child invited. We would like to know who your child is going to invite by Monday, April 2nd so we can address the invitation to the teacher your child would like to invite. This way we will also have a name to have your child write their letter to. Parents are invited to join their their child and their child's teacher for this evening.
